Lapcha is in Namkha Rural Municipality-6 of Nepal, has welcomed more than a thousand local and foreign tourists this year. This place is rapidly gaining popularity among travelers as it provides some of the most beautiful views of Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake.

“Since April of this year, we have recorded 1,037 visitors in Lapcha, as reported by Kuncho Tamang. He runs Limi Resort in Takchi. Among these, 312 were international visitors, while 737 were Nepali. Compared to last year, the number has grown by more than 300, making Lapcha a rising destination among adventurers,” he added.

Standing at about 5,000 meters, Lapcha offers a breathtaking view of Manasarovar Lake with Mount Kailash towering behind it. The weather at this time of the year is usually clear, allowing for good views. The Dashain holiday also saw an increase in the domestic rush in this area.

To reach Lapcha, you can fly to Simkot from Nepalgunj and then you can rent a vehicle or trek further. Lapcha really requires at least three days to explore all aspects of the beautiful Limi Valley and the nearby ancient sites like Halji Monastery. There are local lodgings consisting of homestays and resorts to provide comfort and affordable stays.

The access may improve with time, the awareness increased, and within no time, it is becoming a must-visit place in nature and adventure.
