Sudurpaschim Royals handed Janakpur Bolts their first loss in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20. They won by a huge 72 runs at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Defending 124 runs, Sudurpaschim’s bowlers dominated. Janakpur’s batting collapsed, scoring only 51 runs in 12.1 overs. Joshua Tromp was the only batter to reach double digits with 13 runs.
Sudurpaschim’s bowlers shone brightly. Harmit Singh, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Ishan Pandey took two wickets each. Saif Zaib, Scott Kuggeleijn, and Naren Saud also grabbed a wicket each.
Earlier, Sudurpaschim scored 123/9 in 20 overs after batting first. Binod Bhandari top-scored with 33 runs. Saif Zaib added 21, and Ishan Pandey chipped in with 17. Janakpur’s Kishore Mahato bowled brilliantly, taking four wickets.
Both teams now have eight points from five matches. Sudurpaschim leads the table due to a better net run rate. The playoff race is heating up!
