Pokhara Avengers won an interesting match against Biratnagar Kings in the first-ever Super Over match of Nepal Premier League (NPL), T20. The match was played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

With a target of 140 runs set by Biratnagar, Pokhara managed 139 runs in 20 overs to force the match into super over. Raymon Reifer shone for Pokhara, scoring two sixes and a four in the super over which set a target of 19 runs for Biratnagar.
That victory has prolonged Pokhara’s playoff aspirations a little more, while Biratnagar now has to struggle against the current to remain in the tournament.
Scott Edwards scored 45 runs for Biratnagar, while Andries Gous had 39 runs to his credit for Pokhara Raised. Pratish GC took four wickets for Biratnagar, while two each went to Reifer and Sagar Dhakal for Pokhara.
With this victory, Pokhara’s playoff hopes stay alive while it is difficult for Biratnagar to be in the tournament.
