Pakistan batted first after winning the toss and set a target of 105 runs in 20 overs. While their opener Komal Khan held the innings together with 38 runs, and Maham Anees added a steady 29 not out, Nepal’s bowlers had other plans. Captain Puja Mahato bowled like a boss, claiming two key wickets. Rachana Kumari Chaudhary, Riya Sharma, and Simana KC chipped in with one wicket each. Pakistan’s total of 104 runs felt within reach for the determined Nepali squad.
Nepal’s chase didn’t start perfectly, with both openers, Sana Prabin and Sabitri Dhami, departing early. But here’s where the magic began—Captain Puja Mahato stepped up and owned the game.
