The Honey Festival in Chitwan will showcase local honey production and interest in the various benefits of honey. It will begin from Thursday and running until December 30.

Organized by the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project, there are ten stalls at the event for tasting of products made of honey.
These improvements in the packaging and marketing attempts at supporting beekeepers and promoting honey focus on the positive aspects of honey.
The bee zone of Chitwan, established in 2075/76 B.S, has proved its worth as it produced 800 metric tons of honey last year.
