A grand festival will be held from the 18th to the 20th of April in 2025. It marks the 70th anniversary of the first ascent of Kanchenjunga.

Setting up this event is the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Management Council, which will display the beauties and culture of this specific region.
Some of the highlights include trekking, photography exhibitions, cultural events, marketing of local products, and men’s volleyball competitions.
There will be a special national promotion in Kathmandu and outreach to bring international audiences in collaboration with the British Embassy.
This occasion has all the set aside of being an event that will spice up the tourism avenues in Kanchenjunga. It is Nepal’s second-highest mountain.
