Karnali Province Stadium, Surkhet’s Sporting Jewel

Nestled in the heart of Surkhet, Karnali Province, the Karnali Province Stadium is quickly becoming a beacon of sporting prowess. With a seating capacity of 20,000, this multi-purpose stadium will host a variety of events, including the highly anticipated 10th National Games of Nepal.

Progress and Developments

The construction began on December 21, 2024, when Province Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi laid the foundation stone. The stadium is projected to be completed by mid-March 2025, in line with the timeline for the 10th National Games, which will now take place from April 5 to April 12, 2025.
