Last year in January, Phulchowki Adventure Pvt Ltd received a license from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to operate a paragliding service for profit in the Phulchowki-Kushadevi region of Kavre. After receiving permission from CAAN, the business has been preparing to offer the service for more than a year.
Now, after a three-day paragliding test, the business will formally begin offering commercial services. Chhabilal Humagain, Chairman of the Paragliding Service, said that “demonstration” paragliding was currently being conducted before the provision of a commercial service. The service would be offered by ten paragliding flights after a successful test operation.
