Parsa National Park’s Expert Team Successfully Captures Menacing Wild Tiger.

Today, the folks at Parsa National Park did a great job catching a wild tiger that had been scaring people in Thori rural municipality in Parsa. They caught the tiger near Baghmorcha Chaghar in ward no 5 of the Rural Municipality with the help of a team from the park.

Bhim Bahadur Pakhrin, who leads the Sunakhari Buffer Zone Users Committee, has confirmed that they caught the tiger. They started this operation on September 1, after a sad event on August 30 when the tiger attacked and killed a 55-year-old man named Kancha Dong and also took one of Dong’s bulls.

The team that captured the tiger included folks from Parsa National Park, members of the Nepal Army, skilled veterinarians, and dedicated staff from the National Trust of Nature Conservation. They all joined forces and even used domesticated elephants to work together in safely bringing the tiger under control.
