This means you won’t need a physical passport anymore. It’ll make things much quicker and easier for travelers. This change is meant to make the whole travel experience better for everyone.
Biometrics, such as face recognition, can be used to create a single authentication token for passengers that can be used at all computerized touch points, from baggage drop to immigration clearance and boarding. Physical tour paperwork, such as boarding passes and passports, will be obsolete.
