
Nepali mountaineer Prakashraj Pandey achieved a significant milestone by successfully ascending Africa’s tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. His triumphant climb of the 5,895-meter-high mountain in Tanzania took place at 6:40 am on October 31st, with the proud moment of hoisting Nepal’s national flag atop Kilimanjaro. Pandey embarked on this three-day journey from the base camp.
Additionally, Prakashraj Pandey’s remarkable mountaineering journey extends beyond Africa, as he reached the summit of Mount Elbrus, Europe’s highest peak in Russia, on June 29th at 9 am. His ambitious goal is to conquer the Seven Summits, which entails scaling the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Notably, Pandey has previously accomplished the feat of climbing six mountains in Nepal, including renowned peaks like Everest, Manaslu, and Amadablam. His ultimate aim is to establish a world record by conquering the highest summits on every continent.
