Nepal’s Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Scores Satisfactory in Ministry Report Card

Kathmandu: In the comprehensive assessment of ministries by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department has secured a satisfactory rating.

As part of the evaluation, 21 ministries underwent management audits, and while many ministries saw mixed results, the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department showed consistent performance. Among the various departments assessed, it is one of the entities to receive a satisfactory grade.

The department’s efforts in managing and overseeing tourism-related policies, administrative procedures, and compliance with annual plans were noted. However, despite a satisfactory grade, the Ministry is set to further enhance its performance for future evaluations.

The assessment covered various aspects, including the department’s adherence to regulations, implementation of programs, and management of public services. Although rated satisfactory, the report highlights areas for improvement, aiming for more impactful contributions in the field of tourism and civil aviation.

This outcome signifies the need for continued efforts by the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department to maintain high standards and further elevate its role in Nepal’s tourism and aviation sectors.
