Located  in the beautiful mountain regions of Gandaki Province, Galkot is home to the Galkot Durbar, a historical monument . Once the capital of the strong Galkot Kingdom, this majestic castle attracts visitors with its rich heritage of culture and magnificent architecture, bringing up images of a past time.

As the center of the Galkot Kingdom, one of the 24 minor nations that made up the Chaubisi Rajya union, the Galkot Durbar’s history dates back to the 18th century.
