Historical pictures of Kathmandu Valley are exhibited in Pokhara.
The historical image of Kathmandu Valley was on display for a week in Pokhara in honor of the 21st International Mountain Museum Day.
The Patan Museum Development Committee and the Hanuman Dhoka Darbar Museum were collaborators in organizing the photo exhibit. The exhibition displayed paintings, photos, and photographs taken by the late Dirgha Man Chitrakar, the royal photographer, and his son Ganeshman Chitrakar.

The images showcased the monuments, fairs, festivals, and daily lives of the people living in the palace region.
There were about 22 images on displayed that show the Great Earthquake of 1990, among other things. Pokhara Mayor Dhanraj Acharya and Lalitpur Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan jointly inaugurated the event.
