A new 2-kilometer walking path has been built to get to the famous Pathibhara Temple through Mayam in Fungling Municipality-10.
They made this path using stone slabs from Chuchche Dhunga to Dhahelo in Mayam. The Pathibhara Area Development Committee paid for it.
Kumar Lecharbo, who leads the Consumer Committee, said they spent Rs. 2.5 million to build 2,172 meters of the path. They planned for 2,500 meters but ended up doing 122 meters more. Local volunteers helped build this extra part.
Indra Lechharbo, the committee’s secretary, mentioned that people from Furumbo in Fungling Municipality, Paktanglung Rural Municipality, and Mikwakhola Rural Municipality are using this path to reach the Pathibhara temple.
This stone path, 1.20 meters wide, will make it easier for locals to move around.
