Starting today, the road from Kulekhani to Dakshinkali, passing through Sisneri and Chhaimale, will be closed indefinitely. This road connects Hetauda and Kathmandu.
The closure is necessary for road improvement works, such as building reinforced concrete, drains, and adding a layer of black-topping. According to Pratap Bhomjan, Chairman of Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3, the road will remain closed until these upgrades are finished.
Previously, the Sisneri section of the road was shut down for construction works earlier this month. The Ward Office explained that the road needs to be closed until all the upgrades are done because some vehicles were causing problems by using the road before it was fully completed.
