Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, also known as ‘Prachanda,’ has brought something new to attract tourists to Gorakha: a valuable mineral called ‘quartz crystal.’ He believes that introducing quartz crystal, which holds historical and archaeological significance in the district, will greatly help in boosting tourism in Gorakha.
Prime Minister Dahal thinks that by introducing quartz crystal, Gorakha’s importance and role will become clearer to everyone. This, in turn, will have a positive impact on tourism in Gorakha.
He stressed the importance of ensuring the security of quartz crystal and organizing historical sites properly.
Before quartz crystal was introduced, people used to worship stones in the Gorakha Durbar area.
With the introduction of quartz crystal, which has historical and archaeological importance, Prime Minister Dahal visited the palace area for the first time since Nepal became a republic. He expressed his happiness at witnessing this historic event.
He is committed to enhancing the historical significance of Gorakha and contributing to its development.
The people of Gorakha are looking forward to some historical development projects. They expect projects like the Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project, Gorakhakali Rubber Industry, and the construction of industrial parks to begin soon. Additionally, Prime Minister Dahal has prioritized improving infrastructure, roads, and building bridges in the area.
