Pathibhara Temple is a revered sahktipeeth. It is located in Taplejung District. It is situated at an altitude of 3794 metres above the sea level. People come here for the blessings of Devi Pathivara. She is the goddess residing in the temple. People come and pray for Devi pathiavara’s blessings. It is said that Devi Pathivara clears all the obstacles and negativity in one’s life and blesses them with health, wealth, and prosperity.

To reach the temple, travel to Taplejung Via biratnagar. You can get a bus from biratnagar to Taplejung. From taplejung, the trek starts. One has to trek for about 3-4 days to reach the Temple.
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is a protected area located in eastern Terai of Nepal. It is spread over the area of 176 sq. km. It is also one of the smallest wildlife reserves of Nepal. It was established in 1976 A.D. to preserve the endangered wild water buffalo, i.e., Arna. The reserve is home to over 485 species of birds, including rare and endangered species. It also houses wild water buffaloes, deer, and dolphins in the Koshi River. There are about 485 species of birds in the reserve.

Ilam
