The flight from Kathmandu to Taplejung has resumed on Wednesday. After the start of the flight, 4 passengers flew from ktm to Taplejung. Before the flight was not able to operated due to bad weather for three months. As the weather gradually improved the flight resumed. After the start of the flight 2 passengers went to Ktm from Taplejung said Captain Ujwwal Silwal and Ankur Arya.
Head of the Taplejung office Narayan Kumar Karki, stated that this is the first flight since May 11. Currently, flights operate only on Wednesdays, with plans to expand as passenger numbers grow. The one-way fare is NRs. 9,400.
According to the corporation, they used to fly up to 13 passengers from Ktm and 16 from Taplejung. They also stated that the number of passengers will decrease as they have to fill up fuel from ktm, but the number of passengers will increase as the fuel will decrease when returning from Taplejung.
