2024 K-Culture Honors 50 Years of Nepal-Korea Relations

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted the 2024 K-Culture on Wednesday, 2nd October. It was being held in Hotel Himalaya, Kathmandu. It is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Korea. The event showcased a diverse exhibition of Korean culture, combining traditional dance with modern technologies to provide an entertaining experience for the audience.

Korea’s famed SDG Crew leads the performance. It celebrates the beauty of ancient Korean dance styles, complemented by strong drumming. The utilization of high-tech media, such as stunning projections and lighting, was a standout feature of the event, adding to the visual appeal of the performance.

The seminar attracted a large number of Korean and Nepalese guests. Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dev Raj Ghimire, emphasized the significant relations between the two countries, mentioning tourism, trade, and cultural interaction. He congratulated both nations on the occasion of this diplomatic achievement.
