Special Flight by NAC for Dashain Starts From October 10

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will fly a special rescue flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa. It starts on October 10 and operates throughout the Dashain season till Christmas. It starts from the day with Fulpati. It is a significant day in the Bada Dashain celebration. This project aims to help people reach their destinations after the severe damage caused by rain.

Following guidance from Badri Prasad Pandey, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, NAC has scheduled this flight to meet the increasing demand for travel during Dashain. Executive Chair Yubaraj Adhikari emphasized the necessity for this service in context with the problems faced by recent floods and landslides.

The flight, operated by an A320 aircraft, is scheduled to depart Kathmandu at 11:00 AM and return at 12:30 PM. The travel fair from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa costs Rs 7,000, with a return fee of Rs 3,890. It is a helpful travel choice for those looking to enjoy the festivities with family.
