The Kulekhani-Sisneri road, which connects Kathmandu to Hetauda, reopened today following necessary repairs. The road in Simkhola, Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2, Makawanpur district, was stopped for three days. It was due to floods and landslides caused by severe rainfall in late September.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyamu Aryal reported that two-way traffic is now functional. The successful installation of hume pipes and other maintenance work is also done. The reopening of this route is intended to improve travel conditions and make easier traffic between Kathmandu and Hetauda.
