Nepal achieved a stunning win in the T20I series against the USA. They won all three matches, including the final game. In the final game, Nepal won by eight wickets, showing their domination throughout the series.
Nepal’s victory in the third match was led by opener Ashif Sheikh, who made an important half-century. Sheikh faced 39 balls and scored 50 runs, including five boundaries and two sixes. His partnerships with Kushal Malla and Kushal Bhurtel were critical in leading Nepal to victory after the USA set a target of 156 runs.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the USA scored 156 runs for five wickets. Saiteja Mukkamalla was the star of the USA. He hit 68 runs off 51 deliveries, including five fours and two sixes. Milind Kumar also provided 43 unbroken runs from 35 balls. However, Nepal’s bowlers, led by Sompal Kami, limited the USA’s score. Kami grabbed three wickets for 27 runs, while Rijan Dhakal and Lalit Rajbanshi each took one wicket.
Thanks to an intense Super Over conclusion, Nepal had already won the series in the second match. Kushal Bhurtel’s magnificent 92 runs, including seven fours and six sixes, helped Nepal score 170 runs. The USA tied the score, forcing a Super Over in which Nepal won thanks to Sompal Kami’s superb bowling and the batting heroics of Bhurtel and Captain Rohit Paudel.
With this perfect sweep, Nepal continues to advance in international cricket, confirming their T20I domination over the USA.
