The Pokhara Street Festival-the 26th in its series-will be held from December 28, 2024, to January 2, 2025, in the lakeside area of Pokhara. It is organized by REBAN Pokhara to promote domestic and international tourism.

The event will take place along the lakeside for three kilometers and coincide with the New Year celebrations featuring traditioanl Nepali foods, ethnic costumes, and cultural performances. The tourists would also enjoy discounts in restaurants, hotels, and, even in paragliding services.
According to REBAN officials, the festival promotes Nepali products and encourages local businesses. This event has proven to be a key economic driver in attracting tourists and creating employment opportunities.
Last year, 500,000 people were there, and the same is expected this time. The event is supported by the Nepal Tourism Board, Pokhara Metropolitan City, and other local bodies.
Main attractions include boat races, tug-of-war, and eating contests. A colourful celebration of Nepali culture and tourism awaits.
