Today, Nepal faces India in the second match of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, set to kick off at 3:15 p.m. at the Palekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.
In their first game, Nepal lost badly to Pakistan, so they have no points. On the other hand, Pakistan won their games and is now in the Super Four stage.
But rain made the India-Pakistan match not happen. India must play very well against Nepal to go to the Super Four. This is the first time Nepal is playing against India’s senior team. In the ICC rankings, India is in third place, and Nepal is in 15th place. Like the last rainy match, there might be rain in Sri Lanka today. If the match can’t happen again, India will go ahead with a draw.
In the Asia Cup, Nepal, India, and Pakistan are in Group ‘A’, and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are in Group ‘B’.
