Ujjwal Sherchan, Deputy Manager of Manakamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd., confirmed that the maintenance work is finished, and the cable car is now fully operational.
The cable car, which started in 1998, offers a 10-minute ride from Cheres in Chitwan to the Manakamana Temple in Gorkha. It’s a quick and scenic way to visit the temple.
The recent upgrades replaced old equipment with modern technology, making the ride safer and smoother. Though the service was temporarily halted, the company apologized for any inconvenience.
Now, the Cable Car is ready to take visitors to this beautiful and spiritual destination once again.
